A Facebook social media app build for popular mens fashion retailer Topman, to promote the Grimmie crossover campaign. The app allowed users to create their own custom t-shirt design from a predefined set of illustrations in the style of the new clothing range. Users could then post their creations for a chance to win a printed t-shirt of their design.
The app used a JS front-end and a bespoke PHP back-end that compiled the design in to a high resolution image, using Image Magick. The app featured moderation, registration, user manageent, social sharing and gallery.
The app had a great reception with thousands of designs created and submitted.
